One dog dies in Orchard Ave. house fire on Sunday
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) - A family has been displaced after their house sustained significant damage from a fire. It happened on Orchard Avenue and 20 Road. The family who was able to escape are well known to many pet owners in the valley... and now they could use your help in getting back on their feet. The owner of Ruff Around the Edges and his daughter were in the house when the fire started. They said the fire started around 3:30 in the morning. Brianna Pischer is the daughter of Lance Ferguson and she was the one to first discover the fire. She also was the one to wake her father up and alert him to the fire. Read more here.
I read from Nbc11 News that one dog in Orchard Ave. dies after the house fire. The family in the house was displaced from their house after the fire hit and damaged the house. The owner of the house with his daughter was in the house when the fire started. The daughter was the first one to notice the fire and was the one who wakes her father, and they saw that the flames were already big. They were able to save their two dogs, but another puppy was not able to make it. It’s sad news to know when they burned, including all the things in it. However, although I’m so sad about what happened to the dog and this property, I’m still happy to know that the people living in this house survived.
